Recently, I sat down and re-watched all the Disney classics like sleeping beauty and Cinderella for the purpose of reliving my childhood. But after watching them I started to watch the newer films from Disney like Frozen. I couldn’t help but feel like Disney has somehow lost its magic that it once held. The kind of magic that made Disney into the foundation of many peoples childhoods. I don’t have anything against their newer movies but they just aren’t the same as they were, like they’re missing something. In my personal opinion, I think Disney actually traded in the magic that made their movies what they are for money. It’s actually sad and the fact that they redesigned the Disney princesses for modern day people is just disappointing.
